Hi, Courtney.
I'm Jill — I wanted to introduce myself before you taste the drinks — below is a short(ish) video message that shares a little about our business, brand and product.
I've also included our tasting cards for each Coco Loco flavours; we've found that these notes help prepare people for what they may taste. As we are the only fermented coconut water alcohol product in the world it can be hard for people to know what to expect. Please let me know if you have a builds that I should add to these tastings notes!

Pineapple
Piña Colada
Coco Loco Pineapple is a light and spritzy Piña Colada but like a cider — it's not alcohol added to coconut water.
Best flavour for: Drinkers who like pineapple + coconut as well as fermented beverages like white wine, cider, kombucha, light beer.
Passionfruit
Passion Spritz
Coco Loco Passionfruit tastes exactly like Australia's iconic soft drink Passiona. And the other one — Pasito — with just a hint of coconut water, naturally.
Best flavour for: Anyone who loves Passiona or Pasito and passionfruit-forward drinks.

Low-Down Spritz.
Every ingredient earns its place. Nothing to Google.
Ingredients
- 1 × Coco Loco Piña Colada (330mL can, chilled)
- 30mL fresh lime juice (approx. half a lime)
- 4–5 fresh mint leaves
- 60mL chilled coconut water (unflavoured)
- Optional: 1 drop doTERRA Lemongrass essential oil, placed on the surface
Method
- Gently press the mint leaves against the inside of the glass — just enough to release the oils, not shred them.
- Add the lime juice and coconut water. Give it a brief stir.
- Fill the glass with ice (large cubes or a single sphere).
- Pour the Coco Loco Piña Colada slowly over the ice to preserve the carbonation.
- One gentle stir from the bottom to bring it together.
- If using: place a single drop of doTERRA Lemongrass on the surface. Don't stir it in — let it sit on top so it hits the nose first.
Garnish: A generous sprig of fresh mint and a thin lime wheel. Nothing more.

Six things that make Coco Loco unlike anything else in the category.
Brewed, not spirit-mixed.
Every other hard seltzer starts with a neutral alcohol base — essentially vodka and soda water. We ferment real coconut water to create the alcohol itself. It's a genuine brewing process, and we're the only brand in the world doing it.
Nutritional guardrails from day one.
We set non-negotiable limits before we started brewing: ≤ 3.6g of sugar per can, ~115 kcal, one standard drink, all natural ingredients. These weren't marketing targets — they were design constraints that shaped the entire product.
Zero-waste sourcing model.
We source coconut water from an Australian supplier, ordering only the exact volume each batch requires — eliminating ordering waste entirely. Where retailer best-before-date stock becomes available, we rescue it into our brewing batches rather than letting it go to landfill.
Packaging that earns its place.
Infinitely recyclable aluminium cans, printed directly onto the substrate — no labels, no adhesive. BioPak six-pack holders: plastic-free, compostable, applied by hand. FSC-certified cartons, repurposed produce boxes for smaller orders. Nothing oversized. Nothing wasted.
No discounts. No health-washing.
We don't run Black Friday sales, first-order discount codes, or deep promotions. We don't use "wellness" or "healthy" language to market an alcohol product. We're honest about what this is — and we believe that honesty is a form of social responsibility the industry needs more of.
The effortful business.
We chose the most sustainable packaging even though it's incompatible with automated production lines. We hand-apply every six-pack holder. We cut our own shipping cartons to size. We do this because we believe the detail matters — and because "better" isn't a destination, it's a standard.
