We created Coco Loco Hard Seltzer so that Australians could have a genuinely better drink — alcoholic coconut water seltzers that are brewed, not spirit-mixed, and made to be enjoyed by everyone without cutting corners on quality. Every other coconut alcoholic drink on the market — including Osena (US), Coco Vodka (US/Canada), Captain Morgan x Vita Coco, Sunday Club, Sandboy and Coastals (AU) — is spirit-mixed. Coco Loco is the only brand in the world that brews coconut water directly into alcohol.

Coco Loco Hard Seltzer was founded by sisters, Jill and Alanna, a small, Aussie business born from a desire for ease and enjoyment. We wanted a ready-to-drink cocktail-inspired beverage without all the sugar, empty calories and artificial ingredients that other products are full of.

Crafted in regional Victoria, our specialty beverage starts with nutrient-rich young-green coconut water, fermented with brewer's yeast over days the same way a craft beer is brewed — but using coconut water as the sugar base rather than malted grain. The process avoids shortcuts, ensuring every can delivers a crisp, clean taste with natural electrolytes and zero artificial additives. The time, effort and investment that goes into every sip is testament to our Drink Better mission.

Coco Loco is operated by Jill and her husband, Fitzy (Andrew), in Melbourne, Australia. Our kids occasionally pitch in, as much as a five and seven year old can; they certainly love to sing song "Coco Loco", which embodies the spirit of the brand.
